I agree with Steamers.  The food is good and I don't drink beer so it does that does not influence me.  They have been good to us for our movie nights and that is a plus.  As far as a restaurant they expect you to buy a meal and sometimes I just want a drink of some alcoholic kind and Streamers fills that role.  As far as a consensus from the club I don' think it will happen as I describe our club to my wife is like herding cats and that is the way I like it.

Ya know I been thinking, dangerous I know, but everyone seemed happy at the Legion on Tuesday nights. Do you think maybe a change of meeting night and back to the Legion might be in order or is that just a bit too revolutionary?

I would go along with that idea 100% Terry i might join thee club again if we went back to thee Legion or some other place. I was hoping someone would suggest changing thee day a long time ago and you are thee man that did. Now please make it work. Thank you Terry.

I'm told the Legion's policy on guests (we were almost all guests) has reverted to the original members-only policy, so it seems unlikely we can go home again, even if we adjusted out schedule to fit theirs - discussion of which seemed always to cause a fuss.    Though it means nothing to me, a lot of people are set on Tuesdays.  There is also some considerable uncertainty in just how much longer the Legion will be continuing in the current location, and this sort of uncertainty is not helpful in fostering plans of this sort.

Er,  no, I haven't actually gone to the Legion and asked about this... I think Guy told us, but I imagine somebody else told him - I don't expect he called the Legion himself to check it out.

I think we should have our meetings at whatever strip club happens to be open.  I'll even show up to a meeting to say so.
I live with fear and danger everyday, but sometimes I leave her at home and go motorcycling.

I am from Canada, not England. only need one e. I type like a turtle, so no extra key punching for me. So there I am, Lying on the ground at midnite, pounding wheel studs in from behind cause I could not get the hub off and the fella holding the brake caliper out of the way drops fifteen pounds of rough cast iron on my head, making an instant lump and gash. Like I don't have enuff scars already. Hour down the road the tire goes flat. Got home at 8:00 a.m.- just in time to drive kids. Today's paper say's the Legion will close at the end of April without help. Don't know if we can help but I thought I'd bring it up. Could damn near ride a bike today!!!!!!
