I can only assume that after your battery was going dead, and the charging system test (while running at Bulldogs's ...I'm a witness) you have ruled out the regulator/rectifier.  While the GS Suzuki's from that era were notorious for frying stators, I hope you have eliminated the reg/rec first.

I sold Mike Beswick a 1981 GS1100 with a freshly rewound and baked stator.   He bought the bike for parts and maybe that is part he never used.  The stator had less than a season of riding on it before the bike was "retired".  Give Mike a call.

Peace & Grease, Dennis

After the Charging System Output Test Failed unfortunately at BullDog's, I was able to Recharge the battery...disconnected the headlight, and ride  back to the Barn.

*

Performed a No-Load Alternator Test as per the Book on the Stator - The AC Voltmeter showed no where near the 75 volts needed on each test connection for a Pass

Havn't looked at the R/R yet..... ;D

If you are not getting the voltage, then yes, your stator is likely fried.  Have you visually inspected it?  The last one I had that went (same GS1100 I referred to above) it actually looked and smelled burnt.
