GL500C......the C is for"C"Cafe"

The weather was nice and sunny here this afternoon and quite warm.....so out came the GL500 Cafe' for a few runs around the block.It is maybe finished, or are these cafe's ever finished....here is a couple of pics as it sits now

  Looks great, except the tail light should be under the fender on a "boat tail" rear.  You do know of course that particular bike only made about 40 horse. Makes ya just a little faster than a Rocket 3, a lot faster than a Firebird  Scrambler, alas, everything else will beat you .......Actually it would beat the hell out of a Suzukimatic though. Maybe some some small bore dirtbikes.....'specially the Chinese ones. Any bicycle, dog, skateboarder or jogger would make easy prey. If you don't shift past second I'll run  you with my pocket bike.!??  Just jivin' ya Mike, looks great. And Bulldog will be able to keep up. Hope to finish welding Stu's marker this week and Send it to R.C.J. for powder coating, where I have a $110.00 dollar deposit thanks to the generous pockets of club members. Cheers!

  Really!!??!! nothin'  from anyone? I was just teasing Mike and Bulldog- hope your not offended. As for the rest of you what happened to your sense of humor?  I thought there would be a huge list of things that Mike's bike could beat. Was meant to be a topic filler not killer!   I really do like it. Would even ride it! In public and everything.
