definitely like the look of the tracker.
I live with fear and danger everyday, but sometimes I leave her at home and go motorcycling.

Dang the red flattracker looks hot.

I am not committed yet to racing the M21.  I have been surfing for a cheap old 4 stroke dirt bike to build a low-buck tracker, but there does not seem to be many that are cheap (by my definition of cheap).

Bulldog wants another PGVMCC team to race his team at Vernon.  Anyone got bits to throw together a tracker in the next couple of months? I volunteer my already crowded shop for the build.  We should try to match engine size and configuration (4 stroke single,  I am not sure what cc his Triumph is).

Peace & Competition, Dennis.

See my post under 2012 Confirmed Rides.

I heard a rumour that Guy is looking at a bultaco flat tracker.  That is the last straw, I'm going racing.  My plan will be to strip down the BSA M21, smaller gas tank, dirt bike bars, different old bobber seat, strip off the rest, rattle can the gas tank and fender flat black, straighten out the odd bent piece here and there, and give it a mechanical go over.

I promise I will not cut, grind or weld on any of the collector parts.  I will fabricate bolt on brackets for the tank and seat.

As far as teams, its just me by myself right now, but I sure could use someone familiar with British bikes to help me sort the engine.  I don't even have a set of whitworth wrenches yet.    If I recall the night we started the M21, it smoked alot and the carb was leaking (Amal monobloc).

I will start posting build pictures.   I have no intention of making this bike pretty.

I guess the gauntlet has been tossed by Bulldog.  Who else wants to go racing?  I don't think we need to be worried about being in the same class so we can race each other.  It will just be a hoot to have several of us there.  Given how folksy this event is, I am sure they would let us race against each other in our own heat if we asked.  Frankly, I am not expecting to place anywhere other than last.

Peace & Grease, Dennis

Dennis #1 it should be hoot. If u need a hand with the old girl i will be there. I have wrenches and pullers if needed. I am sure Guy, Charlie, Gary, Jack, Kurt, Dave and any other British boys will be also be there when needed. We put together a team. The Bulldog team members are Jack, Kurt, Gary, Jeff, Jimmy, Wayne M, and Bob. I have a set of O'Keefs flat track rules on there way from Art Gable. The largest 2 stroke displacement 250cc. Try and motivate the other members or any outsiders to put together team and bike and lets have fun thats what its all about. Happy building and racing.
