   If it's good for the environment  then it's bad for your engine. Alcohol based fuels burn hot and dry and are death to old motorcycles and hot rods. Anti freeze your dog can drink gels at -20.  tried to get rid of a neighbors cat that way once. Turns out they know better.

My information about Ethanol as an additive is that it tends to dissolve the tank liner products we often use to combat rust.

BMW has mentioned many tiimes the danger of using this type of fuel mix.  That being said, I've mistakenly put this fuel into my old R100 that has a tank liner coating and it didn't dissolve in front of me but I suppose the long term effects are the ones to worry about.

Mohawk used to be the one to avoid like the plague but now they all seem to have it in their lower octane fuels.

Why be normal?
