« on: January 13, 2012, 12:26:13 AM »
Finally got to the 1100 GS I picked up in Kamloops 2 years ago thanks to FFF....
This is the Red and White one Stu and Mike used to have...
Really leaked a lot of oil ...Bad....

The 2 Head Bolt seals at the front of engine were Hard and brittle....

Replaced the Top End Gaskets....Head Gasket etc.

Back together...

Cleaned out the Carbs....will sync when it is warm enough to open the Garage doors...Soon I hope...

Ooh, liking the black and red much better - more like the European version of the ES, which looks very racy to my eye.  I see Five-bike's signature red brake stay made it's way onto this bike as well.  I had to do a toy run in the smoke this bike was trailing a couple of years back;  good job that you found and fixed the leak.

Looks like they copied the BSA Rocket 3 and had to add one more cylinder so it could keep up Fritz.
