New from Terrace
« on: November 26, 2011, 01:30:15 PM »
Hi guys.  Im new to the forum, A friend of mine rccomended I join.  I am running a 79 honda CB 750, 1967 Ducati Sebring 350 and my money pit is the Basket case BSA A7 Plunger 500.  Would be glad to hear from anyone running the older Brit stuff especially willing to trade/sell parts (currently looking for center mud guard stay, and rear mudguard stays).

I am wondering if anyone has made it to the Tswassen   classic bike show and if they have any feedback on it.  Have heard its a good show/swap meet. Hoping to make it down to it this spring.

Keep your knees in the breeze.  I am just heading out to the garage to cus at the rear wheel assembly on the BSA.
Have a good one

Hey bofud my A7 is a 52.  I am plodding along at it finally got the rear end together properly and brakes working tonight!!! its been slow for the past year or so as I have been working away but recently got a town job. Im so excited that it is a possibility I might actually get this thing operational by next year.  I am also a member of an A7/A10 forum you might find helpful. http://www.audioworld.net/BSA/forum
I have had the engine running (not well but running)  have found out the the "complete" basket case I bought was not so complete.  I have been trying to track down parts and manufacture others.  I am trying to keep it as origional..ish as I can.  I will try to get back out to the shop tonight and take some pictures so I can post them.
How is yours comming?  If yours is a bit further along I might trouble you for some pictures of certain mounts ect... that I may still need to make.
