INDIAN BOB RIDE
« on: September 06, 2011, 12:03:46 PM »
Said event does not have to be a huge affair. Simply pick a date and inform club members. Then we can ride in memory of Bob. Since there seems to be confusion as to group ride rules I'll throw some out there. 1 arrive ready- full tank, checked oil, beer money etc.. 2 make sure everyone knows destination and route. 3 have a rendevous point part way as getting out of town sometimes seperates the group. 4 Frank's rule- no passing on the right..for whatever reason this scares some people? 5 most importantly keep the rider behind in your mirror-if you lose them stop, then the next and so on then loop back to find the problem. Simple but effective. Pick a date Wayne!!

I am actually serious about this- yesterdays ire aside does anyone still keep in touch with Bob's sons? Maybe we could have his Indian lead us. If were gonna do something this year I'm thinking Sat. before toy-run or after the toy run. Looking for ideas on a favorite  ride of Bobs or something? How about a loop to Jim Anderson's maybe or...? Come on Bulldog, this is your idea so how about some input.

Not sure what the ire was about at the meeting but an Indian Bob ride sounds fine to me.  I hope I am back from Haida Gwaii when it transpires.  It has been pouring rain for a month here and it has continued since we arrived.  Hopefully it will clear up when we ferry over to the island. See you in a week or so.

Guy is going to look into such, maybe a ride next summer.  He'll let us know.
I live with fear and danger everyday, but sometimes I leave her at home and go motorcycling.
