1977 GL1000 and what is probably a 1973 CB350 for $100.  Doesn't Donovan collect these?

I spoke to the owner today.  He has registration for both bikes.  They are located on Lasalle (right by Steamer's Pub).  I want the 350, but I am not that interested in the gl1000.

Anyone want to join me to look at them tomorrow?  The fellow said he'd be home all day.

Did you get them? I was interested in the wing, but couldn't reach the guy. now it is off the List. So I assume they are gone.

Yes they are gone but not quite the way we were expecting.  Dennis saw Guy earlier on Saturday and he myself and Dennis at Steamers pub.   I was looking at the Goldwing and Dennis was interested in the CB350.  But Dennis was himming and hawing on the the CB350 and I was doing the same for the Goldwing.  Guy said that he would buy the Goldwing if Dennis bought the CB350.  Dennis decided not to get the CB350 and I decided not to get the Goldwing.  But I was interested in the CB350.  So I bought the CB350 and Guy bought the Goldwing.  I am hoping to turn mine into a cafe racer and Guy thinks maybe the Goldwing would make a great rat bike.  Both bikes have issues that we have to get a handle on before we go too far with them.  But all concerned are happy for the moment  concerning their purchases.

to anyone interested in the GL1000, it is up for grabs as i will not do anything with it, The price is still $50 cash but requies a 12 pack of Sleemans to be added to the princely sum. Kaziff

Ken - I would have held out for $100 and 2 cases of beers for you to take that away from Guy.

I live with fear and danger everyday, but sometimes I leave her at home and go motorcycling.

I guess that Guy is officially in the business of "flipping."   A 12 pack of Sleemans in pure tax free capital gains.

I only wish I could turn a profit as fast as Guy has with the Goldwing.  Maybe a factor is that I have not sold any of my bikes.  Hate to get rid of things I might have use for in the future.  I guess that is why I am running out of room in the garage.
