I just cannot buy this bike at this time.  Too many unfinished projects in the garage.  But damn, it is exactly what I was looking for last summer.

Anyone going to Kamloops in the near future?  Maybe I could fit this in the garage....

Is it the F model that makes it 'the one'?  True, the seat and 4:1 are sort of features worth having.  You are ok with the oil tank, now?

I've come to terms with the reality and a proper cafe honda is a 750 and that means an oil tank.  Besides, a home fabricated one out of aluminum in pseudo Cr style would be cool.

It strikes me as a lot of good stuff for $500.

Looks like a great buy.  I am tempted but either have to get more room in the garage or a bigger garage.  Could that be a club project and turn it into a cafe racer and raffle it off?  Would we have the energy to do another rebuild?

Well, if the club, or anyone in the club, wanted a CB750, 5 bike Mike still has access to the early '70's one his friend has  in Vanderhoof.  Dennis was not struck by that one in the same way, and it is slightly more money at $700, but it comes with a rail-type service stand.  A guy it the donut shop said he was looking for one and I gave him Mike's number, but Mike says he never even called, and this was recently, so it is still available...

Um, no, Mike tells me the price is firm on his buddy's bike;  one of those 'get out what I put in' deals for a guy for whom it is more a question of principle than cash, so this one down south is cheaper, excluding expenses.  Any curious parties should ask Dennis, who is the only member besides Mike to have seen the bike.

SOLD

Right away in fact.

Regarding the discussion about Mike's friend's 750; I only say the Kijiji pitcures, but I have inspected the 750 in Vanderhoof.  The Kijiji one looks a lot better.

Yep;  the one in Vanderhoof is still available.  Somebody will have to buy it sooner or later...I don't why you guys are delaying the inevitable commerce;  resistance is futile.

Good sales dictates that the CUSTOMER hold/touch/fondle the ITEM being sold. So maybe someone could do that.  And everything would be good to go.........to its new home. ;D

Actually, I'm quite in agreement with that;  I was going to go out to Vanderhoof and get (buy) the bike and bring it back here for the eventual end-user, who couldn't find the time or pressing need to go out west to look.  It just didn't happen, and then the bike, which was at Mike's for awhile, went back to the owner's place.
Anyway, some club member, somewhere, at some point, will want it...and by then it will be gone.
