This is the motor that was at tech night at Rhett Coles shop.Had to bore it and new piston.frame was not usable in my opinionbut cut a deal with Kurt for his 83 250. I'm building as an 82 cuz its much cooler lookin  8).So far have purchsed tank, seat+ new cover,side covers,fenders,pipe,silencer off ebay.

Good goin' on the heart transplant, Dave: if it was me I would have been expecting all sorts of problems from exactly-engineered-to-fit racebike parts, and yet it looks totally factory.  Nice job making something from two nothings.

Thanks Russ. With the seat on you can't see the tape holding the side panels on( they are bolted on now) and the pipe needs some mounts built yet.Needs tires,rear brake drum as this ones broke.I think I've got all the electrical components needed.

No pulse yet but this ones breathing fire again.Likes to pull the front wheel up in 4th gear  :o and its not completly tuned yet.
