Hi All
I'm planning to ride down to Peachland again for the Peachland Vintage and collectible motorcycle show.   The actual show date is sunday Sept 1st but I plan to arrive on Saturday afternoon-ish. The show organizer is Boris Fudrich (he's on this forum as bofud I believe).  Boris will host any out-of-town campers on his property.  Last year he let my brother and I set up our cots in his 'doghouse'.  This is a museum level building on his property that is stuffed to the eyeballs with restored vintage bikes.  The poster is inserted below and attached as a .pdf

If anyone would like to join this little trip, one of the discussions will be if we'd like to start say friday or even thursday and make it a little circle ride. Let me know.

Say hi to Boris for me, I’d sleep in his doghouse anytime. Enjoy the trip, I’ll be camping with grandkids.

I'm planning on taking the long way there in no particular direction other than southerly.  Leave Wednesday the 28th.

I plan to attend the day's events as well. Our place is a few Kms down the road and anyone from the club is welcome to use our back yard to pitch their tents and have a safe place to sleep for the night(s). I have a bathroom in the shop and the tools are there if you need them too.

Let me know who is coming and I'll make sure I turn off the irrigation for the night(s)!

Why be normal?

Hey All

If you are heading out with me on this journey, I'll be at the Esso(old Husky House) south at 8:30 Wednesday, plan to leave for 9:30.  Olaf has suggested a campsite near Hat Creek/Cache Creek for the first evenings stay, or maybe Lillooet depending on the time and energy level.  Planned route will be direct to Quesnel, West Side Road to Williams Lake, 100 Mile House Horse Lake and Watch Lake Loop.

I have plans to meet up with my friends Paige and Kirk in Hope on Thursday, so a ride to Lillooet and then back to Lytton and then the Fraser Valley. Highway 3 to Princeton, then maybe up 5a towards Merrit?  Still open from this point.

Camping should be easy to find Wednesday and Thursday night.  It'll get tighter to find for Friday night as it'll be the long weekend.

Cheers
