Motorcycle Boots
« on: June 16, 2021, 10:48:44 PM »
I would like to buy a new pair of touring motorcycle boots and I do not want to buy them on line as I would really like to try them on before purchasing.
Have anyone seen a good selection of boots in Prince George? Are the only two potential stores Cycle North and Prince George Motorsports?

Also check out NR Motors, they had a selection, at least they did last year.

Forest Power Sports too
I live with fear and danger everyday, but sometimes I leave her at home and go motorcycling.

Spruce Capital Feeds (The horse in the sky) has boots. I bought a pair there; not sure if they have what you're looking for now.

Thank you
I will go to Spruce Capital to see what they have as I did not think about the Horse on the Roof Store.
In the meantime here is what I have found:
Called Forest Power Sports and they said they had little or nothing in the way of touring boots and no idea when they would have new inventory.
Went to Cycle North Power Sports and their inventory in the touring boot Alpinestars was a size 7 and 8. Some Motocross boots were there.
At NR motors, again little or nothing in their boot inventory, very sad sight.
At Prince George Motor Sports they did have two sets of Alpinestars boots. I bought one pair that may be a little too big and they are ordering in the next size down for me to try. I bought the size 10 boots because none of the vendors are confident when they will be restocking their boot collection. It may well be that they are being very conservative in building any store inventory.
I am having difficulty shifting with my my high quality construction boots, mainly due to the bulbous steel toe.

I love my Gasolinas.  Pricy but worth it.  They are hand made by a cobbler using a last.  I you are willing to move up the price scale for custom leather there is also Bates in California and Lewis Leathers in London.
