Wayne ride

I tried posting this on Sunday but somehow it did not work.  Any ways I went to the Bon Voyage for the ride and nobody there.  So I checked my phone and missed the message about it being canceled due to inclement weather.  My fault as I do not check my phone very often.  Any ways as the weather was not inclementing I decided to go for a ride.  I rode up the Blackwater then to Pineview and nearly to Buckhorn.  Rode to Blackburn and up the Giscome road and to Eaglet lake.  Then returned via Giscome to University road and home.  Ended up doing 210km and the weather held with only a few drops of rain while returning on the Giscome.  Actually when I stopped at Eaglet lake it was very warm out side.  I took it easy and rarely went above 90 km and hour mostly rode around 70-80 km and hour. An enjoyable ride.

Well mystery solved.  When I got the call about a ride for Wayne I thought it was for Wayne Balcaen.  So when  it was canceled for inclement weather I thought that was unusual for our club.  Turns out the ride was for Wayne Maxim.  Most people refer to him as Bulldog so I did not think of a Wayne ride for him.  So my mistake.  But we will have to have ride for our Wayne at some point.  Some one suggested for July 4th.  That sounds good to me.
