Take a look at the Motorcycle Shop.  There is a KZ1100 there with a Vetter Windjammer on it.
I live with fear and danger everyday, but sometimes I leave her at home and go motorcycling.

I have a Rickman fairing ,I would say it is a 3/4 size.........Rusty Buckets has seen it,ask him what he thinks.I recently had 2 Vetters around. One went to the dump and the other I gave away..............I didn't think that anybody still used them.I think they are heavy and ugly. The Honda Cb 750 F has a decal at the rear of the frame that states,do not use a Wind Jammer or similar fairing on this 750F.......The 750F I traded to Guy had such a sticker on the bike............There are many different fairings on Ebay, much lighter and much better looking....................

My cb750f doesn't have a sticker saying anything about a fairing. I was thinking about putting on a streetfighter style windscreen for long trips but maybe not just to be safe. I have not owned a bike with a shield on before so I guess I will not know what I am missing.

I agree...heavy and ugly.... ;D

But the Black Rain bike has 1100 cc's of SUZUKI 2 valve POWER 8)- doesn't even know that it is there- When it is raining and cold the ugly jammer does it's job
Yes much nicer looking fairings out there - nice to have on a longer ride.....

I used to have one of these on a goldwing and it worked great. I also had one on a Z1 and never noticed any adverse effects either although it had waayyy more power than a cb750. ;D  Seriously though, if you are putting one on a bike not designed to have one you may want to put in stronger fork springs or heavier oil to compensate a bit. It also looks much better if you have the lowers to go with it.  Also beauty/ugly is in the eyes of the beholder.  zx12r good looking....busa's ugly.  New wings ugly...... old wings purty.

8)I do have a spare windjammer fairing with the screen detatched(but available), no noticable damage, black in color but a little different headlight surround. As for all the myths about the performance robbing characteristics, The vindicactor/windjammer on my little kz650 in stock form. will easily do 160+ kms. (on a track of course) and when meeting busses and transport trucks on the highway is not even a noticable event. the benefits in the rain continue until one stops, and in the cold air it is quite comforting. However there are some down falls. like when it is stiffling hot, one is always stiffling hot. it does create a blind spot for everyone else on the road. and even though it only weighs around 10 lbs, it is noticable when having to steady the bike while moving it around in the shop. ;D

Years ago I gave one of those away to Roy at "Bikes in Fields"  He may still have it hanging in his shed.
