Likely need to order those in in the sizes you would be looking for, any of the dealers usually only keep in stock what sells in standard sizes.  Many of us order our tires at www.fortnine.ca and either mount them ourselves or talk nice to Russ.
I live with fear and danger everyday, but sometimes I leave her at home and go motorcycling.

so after many phone calls around shops in town I was told that the front didn't exist. I found that hard to believe so i clicked the link above and found tires in about 30 seconds. To be fair I decided that 100/90/19 was a suitable replacement for a 90/90/19. ( a good parts person should have done the same). guess I'm buying online.

Taking the plunge into buying online should not be scary.  I think the general consensus of Club members is there are no good sources for parts from any of the local bike shops.   They keep nothing in stock, don't want to deal with old bikes at all, and (most) of the parts people haven't got a clue.

The online aftermarket for bike parts has exploded, and if it weren't for Ebay and online shopping, I probably wouldn't even be in this hobby.

The only thing to be worried about is shipping.  You need to avoid any seller (from the US) that uses FedEx or USP.  Any that will ship USP (United States Postal Service) or if using Ebay their international shipping program, are fine.  The problem with USP and FedEx is they charge for bogus brokerage fees.

Otherwise, I have bought hundreds of parts online with absolutely no problems.

If you buy from a Canadian supplier like Fortnine, its even better.  Free shipping right to your door.

Peace & Parts, Dennis

yeah ive come to that conclusion as well. it's a shame that small local businesses don't seem to care enough to compete with online retailers. even if they can't compete with the price they should at least try to out serve the internet. I wouldn't mind paying 10-15% more to have tires in ny hands today or at least order them for me.

Hi KrisCarr!
New member here (see recent introduction).  I totally understand your apprehension and I agree, I would also like to support our local shops... but... Fortnine is an absolutely legitimate, upstanding company to deal with!  Not only do they offer free shipping over $49, as stated by Dennis, but there are no hassle returns, the tires they sell are not dated and shipping is truly quick (under a week).  I buy from them all the time as they hold so much product and choice that simply cannot be rivaled.
Have a good one,
Dean
