Good momentum happening.

Posters can be seen all around town.   Thanks to the members who distributed them.

Social Media is the new wave.  I previously sent electronic posters to the Cruisin' Classics.  I received and email from George Windsor today as follows, "Thanks Dennis, the poster has been posted on the Cruisin Classics Facebook page plus all the information has been forwarded to the members. The Overdrives have also sent out an email to their group plus the Vintage Car  Club has also sent out an email."

Keep spreading the word.

Members put in a full day helping with this event.

First order of the day was laying out the parking lot.  Ron took the reigns.  The white lines were made in ball field lime powered.

As can be seen in the above photo, the weather was looking pretty grim.  Windy, cold and intermittent rain.  Not the best recipe for a first time car/bike event.

Despite that there were some who would not let the weather keep them down from a good afternoon.

Rick Goodrich brought these out.

The Chevy's loved this stage, although I learned that a flat deck truck moves a lot with a band rockin' on it.    The "Nelly's" Awning was a last minute change.   The owner of the truck had custom built a steel tube and canvas canopy cover that opened on the side.  On Saturday morning while driving to the event, it came off his truck and got damaged so we had no cover.  Troy (Nelly's owner) had this awning but it was supposed to be used at PAGARA with his car team.  He phoned the crew and told them it was needed here.

Dennis
A wonderful idea well thought-out and executed.    Really liked the band on the back of the truck.
Congratulations
Well done.
