Woo-hoo! Good incentive for me to improve my GS, Hans to resurrect Rosanne, Dennis to fix the 2-stroke, Russell to pick one of the fleet.......etc. It will never be like the old days cause' the Columbus burned down but I still can't wait. Whatever you do don't walk behind a nitro bike just before they crack the throttle in the pits, my eyes, nose and throat burned for an hour. Need to do some Friday night test and tunes and work on my rather lacking skill at cutting a good light. That and consistency is what wins bracket racing. CHEERS!!!

Not to be a negative Nellie, but to pay $35.00 on a friday night to make a bunch of passes by your self ( you can't race cars because you may fall of and get hurt, I was told) hardly seems worth it. Launches which are the hardest part you can practice in front of your homes in most cases.  Anyone want to buy a ZX12R for 3500 ?

As you can see July 14 2016. Direct from NITRO.

Ken Tuffnell Was a good night for racing, but I do have an observation. It would appear from what I saw, that motorcycles were not allowed to run against the cars. Thus the two guys running their bikes often wound up making passes alone. That's not much fun is it? I have run a bike at the track on Friday nights in previous years and never had that happen. Is this new track policy? If so, why would I pay $25. to play by myself. All of the fun is in racing others, no matter what they ride/drive.

NITRO
NITRO Ken we do it for safety reasons. Would hate to see a bike get hit by a car or the rider comes off and is run over. That said we do try to pair the bikes or sleds up against each but Friday was an exception.

And that "exception ran until end of season".

With that being said, after a few passes I know how fast the bike runs. After a few passes by myself (not many bikes show up on fridays, usually) the adrenaline isn't flowing anymore.  Friday STREET LEGAL should be "run who you are beside".

If you have Brian Barby's ear, maybe that can be changed.

Kudos to Nitro for fixing up their website. It's much better now. Check it out.

Continuing the rant, SORRY. If you do go to the website, check out the street legal pic. Is that a motorcycle lined up by him/herself?   :o  ;D

Went to the site and looked at the gallery, many of the pictures were taken by Mike Rommel also known as Maxim X on the forum. Nice pics Mike! CHEERS.
