Friday night street legal
« on: July 23, 2016, 06:51:19 PM »
Was at the track last night and watched Wayne  mostly playing by himself. If you have ever been in that position it is fun for about the first three passes then it gets boring very quickly. I did watch while they held him back while a mustang made a pass by their lonesome. Doesn't seem right to pay $25.00 just to play by yourself. I went on the NITRO facebook page and asked if this is new track policy, so will be waiting to see what shows up. If anyone knows anything then please sound off. Racing is racing, whether against bikes, cars, or even sleds. And on Friday nights it should everyone against everyone.

They told me bikes can't run with cars. In the past they discouraged it because a slow bike can beat a fast car but would let me run with a faster car--like the ten second Mustang, obviously that has changed. In addition I had to pay 10 bucks at the gate plus 25 to run so it actually cost me 35 to play. My first 2 runs were really strong but didn't get a time slip due to a broken printer. 3 with the KTM and 8 solos still made it worth it to play someplace safe without fear of an impound. Let me know when you bring out your ZX 12 and I'll come chase your taillight! P.S. going through the traps I was still in 4th gear at 170 km but discovered I could shift into 5th and hit 200 with lot's of time to slow down for the return road. CHEERS.

Facebook reply was because of safety concerns. Such as car hits rider or rider falls off and car runs over him.
POST a race friday for all forum bikes???  I could  bring the Fj if the other guys carry  a 150lb sandbag to make things equal. ;D  Otherwise it would have to be the zx.

So what was your best time?  I may go and get a healthy replacement for my ailing bike.....it ran 12.97 when healthy.
