Ultrasonic carb cleaning
« on: June 10, 2016, 11:08:40 AM »
So after years of toiling, multiple tear downs to try and clear some orifice i didn't notice on a carb, I am looking into a ultrasonic cleaner.  Any thoughts out there or experience.  Everyone I have talked to raves about them for carb cleaning.  they seem to range from about 100-350$ for the size i think i would need.  Has anyone seen them at princess auto or locally in PG?  nothing here in terrace so far.

Jeff has a larger one here.  He got it out of the US, and it cost quite a bit.

I had a TA in University that had a side business using the U's solvents and ultrasonic equipment to clean carburetors.
I live with fear and danger everyday, but sometimes I leave her at home and go motorcycling.
