The really big bike
« on: December 01, 2015, 01:11:00 AM »
Came across this again tonight for the first time in 5 or 6 years (?  awhile, anyway), and my feelings on it have apparently changed over time.  When I first saw it, it just seemed so unlikely, I just put it from my mind as a very bad idea.   Due, I guess, to the unstoppable march of time, I now view this as possibly the most terrifying riding pic I have ever seen.

Why be normal?

...where the super-apes make my shoulder ache, and the question of what would happen if this guy hit a serious bump makes me want to retire to bed and never rise again,  this one, that I got from Steve Crout awhile back, reassures me that everything is actually fine, and that motorcycles are still the way and the answer to every meaningful question...

natural selection. The process in nature by which, according to Darwin's theory of evolution, only the organisms best adapted to their environment tend to survive and transmit their genetic characters in increasing numbers to succeeding generations while those less adapted tend to be eliminated

Which category do you think these fellows will fall into?
Why be normal?

I would say the dog-world's strategy, at least, has been laid bare... amenable to any indignity in the name of being agreeable.
