Heated Gloves

Neal

You had some heated gloves given to you.  Do you know where they were bought from?  There is a pair from the states for $200 which is OK but shipping and handling etc is another $75.  So I was wondering if yours were gotten from a Canadian source.

Hi Donovan.

Neil isn't really on here, but I have the answer.  They came out of the States, they were about $200, and then they got nailed with brokerage fees as they came UPS.
I live with fear and danger everyday, but sometimes I leave her at home and go motorcycling.

I recommend heated grips.  I put them on my DR650.  Would not be without them.

I tend to ride later in the season and have done my usual 30km distance ride going 88km/h trip in -9C a few times with both heated grips and heated gloves....gloves hands down (get what I did there)

depending on the glove style but what I have heats from the outside of the hand in where grips so the opposite. Turns out the biting wind is on the outside and grips never get the heat out to the outside. Also there is no spot to warm the thumb with grips (not the system I had at least)

with grips I had them turned up as high as they would go and was still cold. Gloves I set it to 75% and am toasty.

Time to use them here in terrace!  slushy and cold.
