Vanderhoof toy run (new info added)
« on: September 07, 2015, 07:58:20 PM »
I did some Vanderhoof toy run research--starting with the Vanderhoof Chamber of Commerce.  They are hoping to see a bunch of us.  Here are the details:

Vanderhoof Toy Run Date: Sunday September 20th.

PGVMC club assembly suggestion
-10:00am-11:00am meet at Bon Voyage Plaza.
-10:59 leave for Vanderhoof--ahead of the the Harley guys are leaving the PGHD lot at 11:00

Toy Run Detail
-riders meet at the Vanderhoof Co-op parking lot 12:00-1:00.  Admire each others bikes, BS, and 'register'
-1:00-ish the ride leaves Vanderhoof Co-op, led by Santa Clause, and travels through town and the surrounding area.  Approx 30 minute ride
-Destination: Elks Hall and a chili lunch.  The Vanderhoof Kinettes (i.e. the female Kinsmen) prepare lunch and collect toy donations.

Notes:
-The Kinettes use the toys for the christmas hampers that assemble for the community.
-riders are welcome even if they can't afford to donate toys
     -avoid stuffed toys.
-The greatest shortage is always for the pre-teens.

If anyone wants more info, please contact me.
