Father's Day Show 'n Shine
« on: June 17, 2015, 02:13:35 PM »
Just a reminder gentleman.  This is always a great event for our Club.  Show what you ride.

Sunday, June 21, 2015  - Show 10a.m. to 4p.m. Admission: Free

Registration: 7a.m. to 9a.m. $10 per vehicle

Enter on the corner of Ingledew Street & 20th Avenue

Fort George Park along the beautiful Fraser River, Prince George.

The 883 Bobber (henceforth for the "Stolen Sportster") will not be displayed, but the Smithers XS650 Bobber will be back.  This year it will be ridden.

We need to  coordinate the banner and awning.   As per our discussion at the last meeting, the organizers are expecting us to set up where we have in recently years.

Peace & Grease, Dennis

Well I was planning on attending this year but am flying to Ontario on Sunday.  I guess I will say the same thing I did last year and that is next year I will make it.

Have fun in Ontario.  Still deciding whether I can bring a bike down.
I live with fear and danger everyday, but sometimes I leave her at home and go motorcycling.

Paul is taking his trailer for the short journey between his house and the park, so his place is the place to drop those items needed for the club display - I will take some club-marked chairs, a folding table, and the big banner and support poles (which I dound a suitable bag for) over there on Saturday - my club merch supply box is low enough that I will probably leave it behind, but there is a generous float and, if I recall correctly, still quite a few logo stickers and pins in it... should I include those with the other stuff?

I'll try to hook up tomorrow with Paul and Russell.  I am waiting to watch the weather before seeing if I am going on the Ride for Dad.

Great turn out.  Excellent weather.  Lots of old friends and shirt tail members.

Thanks to Paul et all for setting up the awning, trailer and banner.  I should have got a photo ealier with all the schwagg on display instead of the end when we were cleaning up.

Best stock bike was between these two, and Lawrence's Honda Dream won.  Its really impressive.

Guy's Whizzer was constantly being drooled over.  I bet guy started it 20 times for people.

The owner of this Shovel was quite interested in our Club.  Good to see how some of the old Harley guys are interested.
