This is what the first iteration of the surplus hospital carts that Neil was describing looks like, in lightly-modified welding-cart form. I notched the top and middle shelves for a 7" gas bottle, and moved the cable hooks around a bit. A single chain preventing the bottle from falling directly to the rear allows the set up to be completely solid, and it has three generous shelves. and an excellent full-width handle. As all the casters swivel, the front, back and sides of the omni-directional unit are sort of open to interpretation. This set-up is a definite improvement over the cobbled-up 2nd cart this replaces in my shop, thanks to Neil.
