1971 Suzuki 500 twin (2 stroke)

This may be of interest to Ian.  One of the responses to my CB350 Bobber ad on Kijiji was a fellow who wants to trade (as part of a purchase) a 1971 Suzuki 500 Twin.  He says it runs.  No reggie though.

I told him I was thinning me herd, not collecting more projects, but these old two strokes are great ... in the hands of the right owner.

Let me know if your are interested and I will correspond with the fellow further.

I have a buddy here in terrace that has been looking for a suzuki 500 twin 2 stroke.  can you please PM me the details and I will pass along the info.

The owner, Jaye Salmon has authorized me to share some information.  This is what he emailed me:

"Ok sounds good i am in williams lake.i would like to replace it with another older bike,if you dont sell yours i am very interested...mabey if buddy buys mine we can make some kind of deal i did pay 1500$ for it,and rebuilt the carbs,replaced battery,had keys made for the ignition,repaired some wiring and have a new front for it."
