Progress report

Its been a busy week, tore down the bsa and redid the seals.  Its 75% back together.  I should at least have one bike for vernon.  Once thats running i will re-focus on the matchless.  Dig around boys im looking for a lucas single spark mag.  I will make it work.  I wabt an sr1 but any thing that works will do.  It gust has to be stand alone.  I have ebay bids out but they wont be here for vernon.  Any thoughts or parts are apreciated.  I will be there wednesday next week.  Let me know if its worth bringing the flying M

I am not sure if it would help but I still have the 6volt magneto from my BSA B40.  I have converted it to 12 volt so am not in need of the old one.  It is at Bulldog's place so give him a call or email etc.  You are welcome to it if it will help you.

Donovan, you are my hero!  I will call bulldog today.  Im there on wednesday, so it should give me time to dial her in.  I owe you some verry happy beers!

I hope it works out Qball.  Bulldog thinks that it might not as I have a stator and you require a magneto.  I guess there is a difference but I was thinking they were the same thing in my ignorance.  Any ways I do hope it works out.

Spoke with bull dog and with guy, both said it wont work.  Here are some pics of the mag if ant one has any ideas im in my shop all day.
