Yellow Peril.
« on: June 03, 2014, 09:15:53 AM »
Of all the hazards of our chosen hobby, these f%$kers are one of the worst.  This guy flew right down the neck of my coat and got between my shirt and chest. Managed to trap it with the clutch hand as I dead sticked into the driveway.  Got lucky, didn't get stung.  Seem to be lots of them out there right now, and none of them seem to be in a good mood.  If you're allergic, make sure your meds are handy.

I live with fear and danger everyday, but sometimes I leave her at home and go motorcycling.

Finally got to go for a pleasure ride last night, of course just past Nukko lake turn off the sky suddenly got dark. U-turn and race the rain home! In my haste I hit 2 big black ??bugs head on. Like getting hit by a rock. One in the chest and one smack between the eyes, hard enuff' to scramble my brain a bit and make my eyes water. Ended up getting wet anyway! CHEERS.
