The proprietor Sean can be reached at 250-397-2261 and presently is not connected to the internet.
A few years ago he purchased all the motorcycle remnants, bits and pieces of a major Victoria motorcycle shop. He did not give me the name and I didn't ask him. The former shop mainly catered to Japanese and British bikes so that is what his main inventory consists of presently. He has spent the last couple years organizing the bits and pieces and that  task is now about 90% completed.
His address is :
3248 Canim-Hendrix Lake Road (on oyur left before you enter 100 Mile House from the north)
He thought he was approximately 20-25 kms from Forest Grove corner!
His property is marked by a full scale mock motorcycle with the number 3248 below it.
I am not sure of the distance from Forest Grove corner!!

Who says motorcycle parts don't grow on trees?  While visiting my parents' this weekend, my nephews and I made the trip out to Canim Lake to check out this fellow's collection of motorcyle parts.  Pretty bizarre.  He has nailed most of the parts to trees.  I was expecting your typical bone yard of slowly deteriorating bikes in fields or sheds.  Not this place.  The pictures say more than I can write.

These are carbs.  Emery saw a Delorto he was interested in.  However, the tree had grown around it.  He actually had to pry the carb from the tree.

The story that he bought out a dealer is over stated.  The clear plastic bags in the next picture are NOS electrical bits...nailed to trees

Wierd.

Wow, even if he overstated his purchase, why wouldn't he protect what he has??
A great method of using mother nature to sort out and catalogue but for heaven's sake, protect it better!!!
Thanks for  the preview.
What would be the approximate ride time from PG to his yard (at the posted speeds of course)?

Not sure about travel time from  Prince George.  That really depends on whether you drive a car with a full tank of gas and make no stops.   If bikes, its usually longer for the expected stops for gas and junk food.

I would estimate 30 - 40 minutes from the junction of Hwy 97 and Canim-Hendricks Road.  You basically drive to the end of the pavement, and then its approximately 3 km of good gravel to his driveway.

Frankly, unless you were looking for a gas tank or side panels, there is nothing there I could see anyone wanting.  The fellow is .... a bit delusional.  As an example I saw a not too bad gas tank for an XS1100.  I was thinking $20-$30.  He wanted $300 for it.  He only had about four "rollers" (bikes more or less complete) including a non running GN400.  He does not want to sell the bikes.

It is worth checking out if you just happen to be in the area.  The parts in trees is just surreal.  I would not make it a destination on its own accord.

I think I like Roy's system better. He neglects out of laziness, this is very purposeful and systematic abuse. Lotta weird eccentrics out there. CHEERS.

Since people seem to like this thread, I thought I would throw up some more photos.

This is how you find his place.

Check out the new mirrors still wrapped ... nailed to a tree

The white "shed" in a previous photo does not have motorcycle parts in it.  It is jammed with VHR movies.  The following shed does have parts in it.

And more stuff in trees ....

Okay, maybe it is worth the trip.

Yeah this is interesting, sounds like he will be keeping his stuff @ $300. a tank.    The fall colours made a nice backdrop for what is there now.  You can only hope that once the snow falls some nice Christmas lights may be added to the trees.  If I was in the area I sure would check it out....get some pics with the owner in them as well...

Wow! Surreal indeed...  looks like someone got a nail gun for Xmas and went wild with it!
At least you can see what he's got, though too bad it's probably going to rust out there.

Might be fun.  Would be a long day, or an easy overnighter.
