Someone pushed over my bikes...I got a video

Some dude pushed over both my motorbikes last night. My cafe racer fell over on my daughters bike and no damage but my seca 750 had the right side lights smashed and the leaking gas wrecked the paint...dang it.

 Posting this mostly for entertainment as the video shows nothing to help us catch the person. We put up security cameras to see if people were in our driveway or at our door as we have no windows on that side of the house. Didn't expect it to actually catch something securtyish.

 Anyone want to buy a seca 750 with smashed right side lights?

Total looser - can probably be found walking the neighborhood tonight, wearing the same clothes.

Sorry to see this Dave.  I know you well enough to say no one could have any good reason to do this to you.  What this person does not know is that something like this will have us praying for him.   I will never forget a story told to me by the president of ICBA many years ago.
   There was a young man shooting pool somewhere (do not know all details of this) and a hells angel somehow was annoyed by the Christian T shirt he was wearing.  The HA told him to take it off and he took it.  Later on he was showing off this shirt to his HA friends.  One of the higher ranking HA in all seriousness told him to get that shirt back to the kid as fast as he could.  He told the one who stole it this:  "Those people will be praying for you!"  If they can be that concerned about us praying Dave it tells us they have seen the power of God answering some of those prayers....Amen?!   I must admit I forget that story from time to time, thanks for bringing it to my thoughts again.

I was surprised how many of my facebook friends said they have had their bikes kicked over as well. Is this a thing people do often?

I didn't realize how much gas dumped out of the cafe racer and almost ran empty today,

Looked more at my seca and it also broke the right side engine cover...dang it...I would be more choked but I am falling out of love with my yamaha more everyday.

Will do.  It is frustrating when something like this happens.  I have had my bike a long time, from when it was mint with 8000km on it.  In 97 (I looked in my manual to see when it was I replaced them) with 40,000km on it a vandal attacked it while in a church parking lot.  He smashed my speedometer, heat gage and tach.  Also the window of a car right next to my bike, showing that he did not have any exact target for his madness.  Yes I was upset, mad, etc.  What kind of person would do that?  I decided it had to be someone who is angry, frustrated, and possibly dealing with pain of some sort in his life.  I can't remember exactly, but I probably prayed that God would change that person somehow.  It was a long time ago.  The cure for him would be to repent and turn his life over to God.
Even if these people pushing over bikes are total jerks they are demonstrating that they need change in their lives.  Hopefully that will happen before it is too late for them.

 Last night while out riding, I happened to park in the same spot that my bike 'fell over' in last year. When a small crowd was checking out the bikes, one of the young ladies asked me if I ever found out who had tipped my bike over. I said I hadn't, although I have a few suspects. I told her of Dave's story. She said she would let me know if she ever overheard anyone talking about pushing mine over.
 A long time ago I worked in a job that my duties included a lot of clean up after vandals. Often people spoke to me about the damage and were angry that people would do such senseless acts. I often replied that being angry only let the vandals win. It was my policy to take pity on those who needed to engage in public destruction. I would try to have the damage cleaned up and everything back to normal before those responsible were even awake to survey their handiwork. Certainly they are angry, frustrated and wretched. They can only win by bringing you to that level.

Been my experience that violence begets violence and when you see (or experience) something like this the fellows are right, feel sorry for this person as they are probably coming from or going back to a house (not necessarily a home) where they are constantly whupped on or held responsible for everything that goes wrong. 

Doesn't make it OK but it reminds me how nasty the food chain gets sometimes.
