Yeah that is a wild race.  I know many have died doing it, had to do a search and this is what I found:

You may notice that a lot of these are in the Manx Grand Prix - for those that dont know the Manx is for non factory Amateur riders. I have been to both the Manx and the TT, the Manx in September the TT in June. They still remain some of my best memories. I also had my honeymoon there, I dont think the wife ever forgave me for getting up at 4 in the morning to go with one of the Australian racer to the track for early morning practice, yes I got to start the MANX Norton and warm it up for the guy and clock his timng laps all at 5am even before brekkie.
