Who wants to work for free?
« on: April 15, 2013, 10:11:38 PM »
Just an observation on the amount and quality of work done by our website/blog administrator Terry Carter.

I bet he puts in about 10 - 15 hrs a month on maintaining the sites and I'd also bet he takes a fair amount of crap when things are changed or the site goes down.

I know for sure he takes crap when membership lists are out of date and it shows me as a past member!  >:( >:( :'(

My first request is for the next meeting that all members of the club take a minute and make sure their contact information is up to date and then have the executive send Terry an updated member list.

My second request is to recognize Terry and all the other volunteers in the club for the efforts they put in to keep the information flowing.  I certainly appreciate the time and trouble they go to!

See you in June!
Steve

My fault on the list. Haven't sent it to Terry yet. Agreed that he does a great job with little recognition and he doesn't complain about us whiners. Buy ya a pint next time we meet mate. CHEERS

Ibid  Terry is a real trooper.  Quietly maintaining our forum, occasionally having to vet stuff, but generally allowing us free range without asking for thanks.

Thanks again Terry.

First - Fast1 your on for the pint.
second - I do this because I enjoy it
third - It doesnt take a whole lot of work (lazy sod)
fourth - you are the people who make the forum
fifth - the forum really was put in place just so we could communicate with each other during the long dark winters. I am glad to say it has expanded way beyond my original thought process. You have met new people and made new friends and fellow motorcyclists can we ask for more.
;D OKAY, LONG HOT SUMMERS WITH NO GRAVEL OR POTHOLES ;D
Thanks to everyone.
