for cripes sakes.  Has anyone thought to email or call the admin of this forum before pronouncing it shit.  NO.  The admin of the forum VOLUNTEERS his time and his computer bandwidth to make this happen.  It is not his full time job, so he may not know of any issue.  So maybe instead of bitching about it, maybe ask him civilly what might be happening with it.  Maybe have some constructive ideas instead of just calling it crap and being all huffy.  For all any of us knows, there may have been an issue and this has gone to a default setting.  Or maybe the admin has decided to try and make the forum more readable, and has gone a little wayward.  Of course, that is my opinion.

Terry, thanks for your time and effort making this happen.

Ye gods and little fishes what did I do to bring down the house. We have had the same Theme on our forum since the we set it  up. i just thought a change to the appearance might brighten your dowdy lives. Ah well live and learn. I thought Shrek had it right when he said "change is good Donkey" but I guess not. Anyway changed it back not a big deal but thanks for the support Hans.

Since my little sting from Fritz I have tried to remain quiet. Have been wanting to reply to this anyway. Even for a computer illiterate like me it was not hard to learn to navigate the new format. ALL forums are a little different. Kudos to Terry for trying something new, sorry it did not work out bud! I for one was okay with it. CHEERS MATE!

Since I started this thing I really thought that my computer was messing things up. Firefox did an upgrade and it made a bunch of changes on its own. Thought this may have been one of them.

The new format was different but was learnable. I do prefer the old one though. It's like a pair of jeans, the old ones feel the best but eventually the new ones become old ones.    And if nothing else it did create a bunch of comments. Oh and the  :) ;) :D ;D >:( :( :o 8) ??? ::) :P :-[ :-X :-\ :-* :'(  are back. ;D

Thanks Terry for your efforts towards our website.  Although I found the new format a bit more difficult to use I was getting use to it.  I missed the show unread posts portion as it allowed me to back track through a thread that I was  not familiar with.  Maybe a combination of the two formats would satisfy all if that were possible.  Thanks again from all of us old dinosaurs who cannot seem to adapt to an ever changing world.  I am not even on face book, twitter or texting as of yet let alone the other things out there that I have not even heard of yet.

Thanks Terry from a vintage dog or old dog. I guess the saying you can't teach a old dog new tricks relates to me. Thanks again Terry for changing the forum back. If i had only known the changes had came from you and not higher uppers i would have contacted you my apologies.
