Snow day!
« on: December 13, 2012, 11:21:29 PM »
Love a good one. Driving in it separates the boy's from the men. Made a snow fort with Hunter (our 2 yr. old) this afternoon then took all the kids out after school for a good old fashioned frolic in the snow. They helped shovel, we had a snowball fight using the aforementioned fort, banged the tree limbs with a shovel so it rained down snow and sliding down the snow hill. Funny how some things never go out of style. Anybody else get to enjoy the day?? CHEERS.

I hate snow. If you enjoy shoveling that much, well my parent driveway in Miworth needs to be done. Its about a million miles long, up hill (both ways).

Hey,  put me on the list as well. You can even use the snowblower.  Oh yeah, you'll have to fix it first.  :)

Anyone who has been at my house knows the size of my driveway/parking lot.  I decided to borrow my father-in-law's snowblower which was in Pineview.  When I got up there, the wind had blown the snow in his driveway into about a two foot drift and a bald patch.  Once that was done I hauled to blower to my place.  I barely got into it and my nephews showed up to work on their bikes and both got recruited into shovelling between us the whole job was done in about 20 minutes.

Peace & Grease, Dennis

hee hee, when I read Fast1's post originally my reaction was "Miserable bloody weather!", but I thought my typical grousing compared pretty badly with his sunny optimism, so I kept it to myself...  I guess being so uniquely upbeat wouldn't be so , er... unique if we were all so well disposed.
