Was in Ottawa yesterday, they need more help than I can provide so I headed down the road to Perth for the night. Looks like cloud & lightning in my near future. On my way to Dearborn Mich. Bike is running like a Honda.

Maybe if we had one of us each year ride to Ottawa and politely vent they would do a better job for us!!!
Thanks for your effort.
Lots of tough bikers in northern Michigan, maybe you should remove that pink character from the back of your bike before you head into the good ole USA.

After spending four days in dearborn, Mich. Visiting `the Henry Ford` and attending a 6-800 entry car show and swap meet at ford world head-office. I left this morning...in a torrential downpour...that lasted to Chicago..so I kept going to milwaukee. I travelled from Michigan into Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Grabbed a room at days inn. Tomorrow I will head for Duluth. Hoping for some dryer weather.

looks like you are having a great trip.  I am jelous.  Hope it has been a good one and that bike of yours has been a joy to ride.
Keep your knees in the breeze and the rubber side down.

Welcome back to Canada.
I always interested to hear about border crossings. Bike plate and registration from the right side of the country, rider registered from the left side of the country and multiple border crossings. Entering and exiting the US whenever. Staying in the US for how long, I don't know. What were you doing would be the first good question (to be asked by our border militia, as I believe they carry weaponry now)?
As said many times, keep the rubber side down.

Border crossings were a breeze...they asked and I told them the facts without asking any questions or giving any indepth details...the weather has been dryer on the Canadian side:-)  should be home in a day or two.
