Excellent wheel-up shot of Dennis bringing the bike off the pad; guys with street cars go to considerable trouble trying to get this result. Watching Dennis, the thought occured I have a lot of extra GS1100 stuff around, wheels, frame, bodywork, engine (minus charging sysytem) pipes, carbs, and Toby's old wheelie bars... but the motor I have on the shelf was already described as 'tired', and would probably only push the bike to about 110-112 mph, maybe just fast enough to do an 11, but more markedly be the fat, lazy, air-cooled dinosaur the young 'uns with their modern Gixxer 600's and 750's kick sand on, let alone guys with 'Busa's and ZX14's.
What would a cop think about a streetbike sporting 6' wheelie-bars (maybe pointed straight up for the trip to the track) idling at the light in front of him?
