I like most of you (probably) have been using countersteering for a long time now.  It is the best way to make a turn.  I never raced road courses but the rest was very interesting as well, good video.

All 2 wheeled riders do it to some degree or they would fall over. Problem is most are oblivious as to what they are doing. It's when you consciously add input gained from "feel" of the road that you notice a real difference. Amazing how many riders don't know their doing it. Why they don't want to keep honing these skills is beyond me. Cheers.

when i was a beginner motorcyclist, I asked riders how they were able to turn so fast easily. It was described to me as when approaching a corner watch the road ahead where you want your wheels to travel and gently pull the bike over. some say to push the bar forward,  I found this uncomfortable, and liked the pulling over as i felt i had better control. Another astute teacher once said "always practice in private before performing in public". another article i read a few years back suggested that most riders were unprepared for emergency situations, Autos pulling out, sand and gravel in corners, approaching a corner way to fast, massive potholes in the dark, etc... the solution was to purposely put yourself into these situations at low speeds and progress. so that you become confident with your self, that when it happens unexpectadly. you will just do it.
