Have fun at O'keefes. Working on Dennis' bike tonight and listening to Jeff's stories made me wish I was going. Maybe next year.....Cheers!

...So was there any luck? Hopefully everyone made it home intact. Inquiring minds are dying to know.

For the record, I came second in class out of three.  Three heats, two seconds and one crash.  No thought of going against the first place guy, he had a bike, tires, and skills.  The guy I was really competing against had less power but better tires.  Dennis had a blast, he competed in the open class.  He came last in all his races, but he was out three and had a grin from ear to ear.  The same guy who win my class won Dennis' class.  Jeff had the big bail and pranged his knee somewhat.  All in all, a fun and great weekend.

I live with fear and danger everyday, but sometimes I leave her at home and go motorcycling.

So our motto of just drag it home rang true and before peg and I made it home and got unpacked peg had ended up with a BSA bantam frame front end and tank.  Me ? well I figure go hard or go home so I got 2 yamaha 250 engines, 1 almost complete honda cx500, a dirtbike frame (who knows what it actually was at one time and am in the process of negotiating a triumph tiger engine.  I am planning the flat tracker for next year and am ammassing a huge pile of junk to start the build!  lol my wife hasnt seen it yet :o. My question is does anyone have a stator for a 500 honda cx?

Thanks so much for such a great weekend everyone.  I am hoping to see all of you again very soon!
