I think $1000 is high.  I learned from the vendor that it is registered in BC and in his name.  That is attractive.

Wee-eell, I don't know;  if the bike is clean and ready to do business, then the asking price seems ok to me.  The only mild concern is that it may have been conducting that business rather a lot... I might be interested in this if I wasn't already distracted by something else.
