A little late but I have been hiding from the night time desert frost.
The temperature, while not as violently cold as yours, has in the last few days plummeted to freezing levels at night. Early risers found their cars had a a thin layer of frost on their windshields, a bit of a surprise. While both of my neighbours roof top evaporative coolers supply lines gave me a nice fountain to watch till I shut their water off. Not major and no internal water but funny as heck to see water lines bursting in the desert.
Trying to stay in reasonable health down here, play soccer twice a week with some young bucks(at least some of them are over 40) of course soccer at night means hot tub in the morning after, these old bones like it. Just of interest the price of gas down here is, wait for it, $4.39us per us gallon. You do the math at an exchange rate of $1.22.
