A friend asked me to get opinions on the value of a two 1980's V45 (750 ccs) Honda Sabres.  Is the present asking price of 4500 dollars Canadian for both bikes a fair and reasonable asking price?
One bike: 1984, 29000 kms , stage two cam job, top end oiler modification, rebuilt carbs and saddlebags. Almost totally original and in good condition.
Second Bike: 1982, no mileage given, daily rider, top end oiler modification, a couple issues to have resolved but not major (fuel petcock is one of them).
Carl Anderson did all the work on these bikes.
What are your thoughts on the pricing.
They are listed in Kijiji and haven't sold as of yet.
Thanks in advance.

Magnas were and are more popular than Sabres due to there errr... uhhh... sorry Parker, tall seat and bad case of the uglies. My opinion is the asking price is top dollar or twice what they're worth and half what the owner has invested. Unless it's got personal value negotiations are in order. CHEERS.
