When I was here last year there was a period when the temp went south of zero for a week. I came back to my apartment after visiting the Philippines and there was ice in the toilet. It took 4 days for the concrete construction apartment to warm up.
This time around I brought a bunch of good winter clothes with me and I was OK traipsing through the knee-deep snow. Had to watch out for the downed power lines though.
All part of the adventure!!
