Old friends
« on: May 07, 2013, 10:54:47 PM »
Fifteen or so years ago I met a neat little grey market Suzuki. Fellow's wife knocked it over and damaged it. HAD to take it for a test ride. Beat the crap out of a new 1200 Sportster with it. Instant love affair. Five or more years later Dave from the tattoo shop had it. Did work on it for him and rode it again. Next time I saw it Hans was riding it. Yesterday he offered to let me ride it tonite since mine is still broken. Took a little getting used to not riding a 7 foot long chopper but love it as much now as the first time I rode it. Like bumping into an old friend and hanging out. THANX Hans!!! CHEERS. P.S. the tail light is out.

Wring those old friends out, they may just surprise.  Noticed the tail light.  Fixed for next time.
I live with fear and danger everyday, but sometimes I leave her at home and go motorcycling.

P.P.S. If the stupid thing ever runs again you are welcome to ride the chopper.  Ditto on my GS.  Funny, I met Neil's intruder about the same time as your GSX. CHEERS.

So what happened to your chopper?  I have my Camaro here now and it is just as advertised.  I gave it a Diablosport tune yesterday and that woke it up a bit, runs probably better than it did at sea level.  You are welcome anytime for that ride you asked for Fast1....I will be leaving on the 15th for a holiday.  Give me a call 562-4174.   Mike
