It looks like the beaver is getting to have a ride on the Interceptor.  Other wise a very nice looking bike.

  Its nice to see she still has her swing arm Kurt. I am happy you are going to get rid of those extended forks. Another sweetheart in good hands. She will be happy to be back on the road in full dress and that is where she belongs. She is a sweet heart and she wasn't a slug in her time. Bring her back to life Kurt.

      Ya Fast1 the Royal Enfield Interceptor's name was about 20 yrs. a head of Honda and in its day it wasn't a snail like the Honda's intercepters wern't. Its to bad the the Brits had greedy bean counters, out to date tooling no money and expensive labour. Most every thing had been done by them and others, i feel the Japanese in proved old technology and did a great job, they had money, tooling and cheep labour etc. That is just ones mans opinion. I love all motorcycles even BMW and Harley.

I used to have the honda interceptor V4.  It was a piece of crap, Fast but not reliable, crappy timing system and not great on fuel.  quite a long bike and a goofy fuel stopcock on the fuel system.  But had a beautiful sound.  I think the Honda Magna ran a similar engine

Two seperate heads....took some persuading to get them off....two seperate barrels also...

The Albion gear box has a neutral finder....1 up...three down   ;D

So, was having to 'persuade' the cylinders off the extent of the seizure?  Crank rolls smooth now? (I see the pistons in swaddling clothes there; that must be a sign the crank spins?) How wide is the gap between the cylinders? The centre four studs are pretty close together, it looks like there couldn't have been much of an air gap  You certainly have it looking nice and clean - and the fancy new table...

The persuasion was needed for the heads....( not much room to lift straight up )the stuck piston marinated in loose juice for a couple days and slid out no poblem..... ;D

-check out the size of the Crank Bearing......Bottom end spins nice and smooth....the underground bunker factory balanced the cranks before assembly

Having some trouble now getting the swingarm off.....the center through bolt is threaded on both ends...

     Kurt i will see i will see if Brendan, Daryl and i can get some pictures on the form building our flat trackers and other projects we might have on the go. There might be a problem though they are old, British and have two wheels and maybe Try spark ignition with a 4 tab fender.
