Yeah, I have to say, that was kind of my reaction too;  the look and description of this top-level - but 40 year-old - footage makes me think less about fun than about traction and plaster...  I mean, fun to watch somebody else do it, sure;  big, long tracks with big, long corners, ridden with big, fast bikes is an amusing passtime for guys with names like Dick Mann (the most macho name ever?), but it seems a stretch from my current armchair.

Soooo.....  just for the record I am in for playing dirt track racer, not becomming professional, Okeef or slightly larger track sounds great, but huge fast tracks sond like a world of pain and im too stupid to slow down.  man those boys are fast!!!  lets remember/ensure to keep it fun and not get carried away!  I already had to make promises to my wife regarding that!
PS:  Still waiting on the stator for my flat tracker.
Keep your knees in the breeze and the rubber side down.

Better not let any on those insurance companies see this video.  You know the comments about danger, violent, 100 mph etc.

Yeah that video sure makes me want to do it....haha.  Oh here is a shot of the late Ken P.  Of course some are professionals...it is the amatures I would fear for most.....  I am sure I could crash without trying too hard.  I do hope some of you have fun doing this and do not get hurt.
