Patience is virtue. I knew that if I waited, the aftermarket would catch up with the demand for rigid frames for 2004 and later Sportsters. In 2004, the Sportster became rubber mounted. I have been following various manufacturers for some time, but was inspired when Paughco finally designed and offered one (actually of bunch of them with different stretches and rakes). Paughco sells wholesale to other bike parts sellers.
Paughco only ships UPS which I am sure most of you hate as much as I do. I will not order anything that must be shipped UPS. Again I waited.
J & P Cycles, a big name in aftermarket stuff is now distributing the Paughco frame I want, they ship USPS and have a maximum shipping fee of $100. The icing on the cake is that the Canadian Dollar is virtually on par with the US Greenback. Here is a picture

With USPS shipping, the grand total is $1620 US. Considering that I bought my pile of 2004 Sportster stuff for $1500, I am hoping to put a nice little chopper/bobber on the road for under $4K.
