Should we accept another 'project' bike?

Kaziff got a lead on a 1986 Honda VFR750.  The current owner was given the bike by his brother and has tried a few things, but he's not been successful.  He would like to see the bike go to someone who can fix it up and re-activate it.

The bike has 60k-ish kilometers on the clock.  Judging from the picture it looks complete but probably needs some fettling and faffing (from the image I can see that the throttle twistgrip seems absent).  The carbs for sure need to come out for a cleaning and there will be more.  Judging from comments on various forums, VFR's aren't the easiest to work on. 

Recall that we already have 2 projects on the go and should not start on a third until the existing 2 are settled.  The question for the group is:
     -is it reasonable to take on another project bike--assuming that we can find storage for the time being?
     -Do we have anyone in the club who knows a thing or two about VFR's? 
     -Could this person cast a hairy eye on this bike and give us an assessment? (the carbs especially) don't have a great reputation for being easy to work on.

Please provide wisdom and comments
