After spending hours fixing bent parts on my bike and building a tank shifter so I could ride in the toy run ( not to mention the endless hours talking my wife into it) sunday morning I woke up bright and early, ran to town, got a jerry can of gas and a day permit and dug all my gear out of the closet. I topped up my gas and warmed up my bike. I had forgotten to buy a toy so on the way to the cn center I stopped at london drugs to pick one up. Cane out to the parking lot and my bike wouldnt start. Back fired a couple of times and then the battery died from trying to crank it over. I pulled the battery out in the parking lot and threw in a spare i had brought because it died on the toy run last year. New battery in and it fired up after about three tries. I didnt even make it out of the parking lot and it stalled out and died. Could not get it going again. Ended up pushing it from parkwood mall to my moms house by pine center. It wasnt fun in my riding boots with my limp pushing my bike down the side of the street. Now poor blu is sitting at my moms house. At least I got to ride it into town but Im really bummed that I missed the ride.
