So I have in my possession, a 1958 Hitachi air compressor. I believe it was for dental use but not 100% sure. The motor is very quiet and is suspended on springs above a 5 gallon tank. Power is 110v electric motor and single piston pump is oil cooled. There is a rubber gasket on the top of the tank leadinv me to believe there was once a cover (probably glass) over the pump and top of the tank. It works but the sight glass has fallen out so it does hold oil. It is a super cool piece (Ill upload pics as soon as I can) but Ive had it in storage for close to 10 years now so Ive decided to sell it. Ive spent a large amount of time trying to research it online to try to determine a value but have come up with nothing. Enyone here have any thoughts on what I should ask for something like this? Practical uses for it are limited ad it's guite small. Maybe air brushing? Or just filling your tires while giving a visitor something to ask about. I appreciate any input. thanks
