Greetings all!
« on: October 05, 2018, 09:06:53 PM »
I recently joined the forum after running into a bunch of you at A&W about a month ago. It was great to see so many older bikes together and I was amazed at how many of them I recognized LOL.
I have an 1984 Yamaha Seca 750RL, also known as the 750S in Europe. I spent some time riding when I was young but I haven't been on a bike in about 34 years until this year. I remember deciding to buy a Celica instead of an Interceptor 750 after blasting along 16th Avenue North in Calgary with the front wheel in the air. A week earlier a friend put his GS1100 through a chain link fence. I chose wisely I think, I'm still here to talk about it and I can enjoy the riding without the hormones now.
That said, I have an extra body for my bike and I want to repaint it. Who's the man doing decent and affordable painting in PG?

Hi Kris, I have another body for XJ750 I bought off a guy in Ontario. The fairing is in way better shape, but it will need painting. My present tank will need painting, the fairing, side panels, tail fairing and the belly fairing. The belly fairing has a broken end and I?m wondering if it can be repaired. I?m thinking of black cherry with a gunmetal silver to kind of modernize the look. I?ll go from there and figure out striping and decals. Any thoughts on if you?d be interested in that kind of job?

Welcome aboard.  Are you the fellow whom we met who was heading to work in the print room at the PG Citizen?

What other bikes do you own?

Olaf

Yeah I'm the guy from the Citizen. That is currently my only bike, but don't count on it staying that way. The wife needs a kitchen, then I'm free to see what else I NEED.
